Hi! My name is Candy Hollis, and I am an independent copywriter and editor.

The most important thing that you need to know about me is that I have a deep and abiding love of the English language– its  semantics, morphology, syntax… I even love diagramming sentences (which I suppose I can credit to my years of teaching in private preparatory schools).

I can happily spend ten or so heady minutes collecting synonyms and engaging in wordplay, crafting that perfect, penultimate sentence. I luxuriate in finding just the right word, penning just the right phrase, cultivating just the right tone… 

As your content writer, I will produce clear, well-researched copy that tells your story, reflects your values, promotes your brand, and supports your marketing strategy. If what you need is an editor, I will pour over your copy with the minutest attention to detail, fine-tuning it until it is flawless.

Aside from my passion for all things writing-related, I love to read, cook, bake, do yoga, hike, paint, explore our marvelous world on fabulous trips, and– most of all– spend time with my husband, Taylor, our adorable 16-month-old son, Vaughan, and our much-cherished dog, Boone. We live in sunny Colorado now (having recently relocated from Georgia).
